My partner and I organised simon to take us to Mutianyu for the day . His english is fluent his mannerism is faultless and basically I recommend all my friends who want a friendly reliable driver who want to plan their own course to contact Simon. His price is very good and his vehicle was clean /and comfortable. If you go to Mutianyu Great wall …make sure you purchase a toboggan ticket to come down’ ..that was a lot of fun.
On the evening of November 22 2013 I arrived in Beijing in transit and decided to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall the following morning before my 1:20pm flight. After a quick browse on various travel websites, Simon’s name kept coming up as a reliable private driver and I can now attest to this!
What I liked about Simon’s service:
1. In our correspondence emails prior to my trip, he responded very quickly – if not within minutes, definitely within hours.
2. He was punctual and picked me up from my hotel on time.
3. He has a good working knowledge of the english language and was good company and gave helpful tips and advice.
4. He is a good driver and I felt safe at all times – perhaps he’s even too careful as I’m a bit of a fast driver! 🙂
5. He is very thoughtful, providing a water bottle and asked me if the temperature of the car was okay throughout the trip.
4. When we arrived at the Great Wall, he assisted me with the purchase of the the entry ticket and cable car tickets.
5. His service is very reasonably priced compared to other private drivers in Beijing.
Overall Simon is very thoughtful and professional and I really appreciated his service and fully recommend him! All the best to you Simon.

I engaged Simon’s service to Mutianyu Great Wall per recommendation from my sister (who ironically came here to visit me last April). I normally do have some regular folks in Beijing when I required excursions, but then decided to engage Simon instead.
It was a good experience, especially helpful as Simon can speak good English as my partner doesn’t understand Chinese, and the trip was for him. I am very particular about timing, and Simon was punctual. And throughout the excursion, he was ready to offer information. Safety wise, it is acceptable as well.
Overall, I would recommend him to visitors and residents in Beijing required some travel excursions.

We have got the pleasure of having Simon as tour guide for four days in Beijing, and a airport pickup and drop off, at the airport Simon was strictly on time.
Every day he picked up as at the hotel, Simon was very strict and always on time.
